The Food Bank of Central Louisiana Receives Maximus Foundation Grant as Part of 2024 Annual Giving
Maximus Foundation Awards Over $2 Million to 209 Nonprofits Nationwide for Community Development, Youth Development, and Healthcare Services
Maximus, a leading employer and provider of government services worldwide, announced that the Maximus Foundation awarded ORGANIZATION NAME a $10,000 grant as part of its annual giving to 209 nonprofit organizations across the United States this year.
In 2024, the Maximus Foundation provided $10,000 grants to each awardee, with focus areas including homelessness prevention, job training programs, youth development, and education programs. The number of grantees represents a 9% increase over the number of 2023 grant recipients.
“This grant funding will provide general operation support for the Food Bank of Central Louisiana,” stated Jayne Wright-Velez, executive director of the Food Bank. “We are so grateful for the continued support from the Maximus Foundation,” she continued.
